Montan wax

Montan wax is a hard natural wax obtained from lignite and is valued for its hardness, gloss and resistance properties. Applications: floor and furniture polishes, car-care products, leather finishes, plastics, coatings and lubricants. Typical specifications: melting point, acid value, ester value and hardness vary by grade. Application: incorporate into the formulation by controlled heating and blending according to the finished-product requirements. Packaging: flakes, granules or blocks in bags/cartons/drums depending on grade.
